Lawyers are often advised by marketing professionals to blog because it is good marketing. The AVVO blog recently announced an inexpensive and easy to use blogging vehicle for lawyers. If you have a modest marketing budget, investing in a blog will buy you more effective advertising than any other vehicle, including Google pay per click ads.

As I was eating alone today, reading Tweets on my iPad, I noticed that several solo diners were holding a sandwich in one hand and a smart phone in the other — except for two (sitting together) who were each holding a newspaper.

What is wrong with this notice, purportedly from Apple?

Here is an email that I received last night, purportedly from Apple, telling me that my account has been frozen, due to massive unauthorized attempts to log in from an unknown location.

“How Appealing” is also appealing to on-line marketers.

How Appealing is the word on appellate court decisions. For over ten years this blawg has been reporting about appellate cases. It is so well-known and so popular that you might make the same mistake Carol Elefant did in a recent post in My Shingle and go to the link “howappealing.com”. Whereupon, you will be offered a page full of links to things to buy.
